Conclusion

Barangay Teachers Village East boasts of its Waste Management Program project though the results of the survey cannot be said to be a reflection of the project. As seen in the results of the survey, not all of the said guidelines are implemented by the barangay. A cause of this can be said to be because not all members of the barangay know of such a project.

In this case study, the group has learned that not all ideals for a better environment are really put into good practice. Due to the lack of communication between barangay officials and its household members, such projects do not get sufficiently implemented. As it were, Barangay Teachers Village East's Waste Management Program is a good project since it was in line with the views of RA 9003, or the Ecological Solid Waste Act of 2000. Sadly though, through bereft efforts, the project was not implemented to its fullest potential.
